NORTHAM at National Groundwater Week 2023

NORTHAM was thrilled to be part of National Groundwater Week 2023, held from December 5th to 7th at the Las Vegas Convention Centre. This year’s event was particularly special as it marked NGWA’s 75th anniversary and drew a record 6,642 attendees from 40 countries. The expo spanned 81,600 square feet with 303 exhibitors, offering a comprehensive look at the latest technologies and trends in the groundwater industry.

At our booth (371), we showcased a range of advanced products including deep well thermoplastic pumps, stainless steel fabricated pumps, investment cast steel pumps, and various submersible motors and cables. Our display attracted significant attention, highlighting our commitment to providing innovative groundwater solutions. We also got a chance to engage with a diverse group of professionals including contractors, scientists, engineers, manufacturers and suppliers during the three-day event.

Northam was able to study what the customer wants and what are the customers pain point so that Northam can support their customer with its innovative and out of the box thinking.

Educational sessions were a key feature, covering topics from drilling basics to groundwater remediation. These sessions offered valuable insights and spurred discussions on industry advancements and challenges. Networking was a highlight, with opportunities to connect at the NGWA Welcome Party and the closing Popcorn and Pilsners event. These gatherings provided a relaxed atmosphere for celebrating industry achievements and exploring future collaborations.

Workforce development was the central theme. Workshops and roundtables addressed strategies for recruiting and retaining talent, with experienced professionals sharing their insights. Events tailored for young and early-career professionals, including a guided exhibit tour and a networking breakfast, underscored the industry’s dedication to fostering new talent.
